Description: (click here for general notes about my descriptions)

The Tzim Bac would have mucho to recommend it as a class IV creek if you could catch it with water.

A full description is in the Mayan Whitewater: Chiapas & Belize guidebook.

Flow Notes: There is no online gauge. The gauge on the larger parallel Río Magdalena might give you some idea of water levels. My impressions are from a run with 125 cfs at the PI.

Accommodations: There is a basic hotel in Tecpatán.

Nearby Tourist Attractions: Not much in this area.
