The Río Sulaco is a scenic gem hidden away deep in the central highlands. For the most part the rapids are in the intermediate range, except for a series of class IV/V rapids near the end in the El Cantilado canyon. Kayakers and rafters alike may opt to portage one or more of them.

Descent History: The Ríos Honduras guys ran the Río Sulaco in the 90s, and included it in their guidebook.
