Description: (click here for general notes about my descriptions)
The lower Río Humuya is a medium-sized river that can be pretty fun when the water is up. The water coming down from the Comayagua valley is not very clean, sot, it is better to paddle here when the rains come down and dilute it.
A full description is in the Mayan Whitewater El Salvador, Honduras, & Nicaragua guidebook.
Descent History: I ran this solo in October 2021, with 4,500 cfs.
