Description: (click here for general notes about my descriptions)

The Río Comalí is right on your way to the Somoto Canyon in Nicaragua and gives you a look at the rarely-visited boxed-in Cañon Caulato waterfall at the TO. You will have to hike out, though, and you might want to verify exactly how far before putting-on.

A full description is in the Mayan Whitewater El Salvador, Honduras, & Nicaragua guidebook.

Descent History: I ran the Río Comalï in October 2017 with 200 cfs at the PI.
