Description: (click here for general notes about my descriptions)

The Río Xococ has a very low run-to-portage ratio as it passes through some crazy gorges with shallow jagged rocks. Contact me for more information.

Descent History: First explored September 2013, by me and Nils Saubès.

Flow Notes: The Río Xococ is hard to catch. The gauge near the PI should help a lot. But if the Río Salamá in downtown Salamá doesn’t have at least 300 cfs in it, don’t bother driving further.
