The Río Limón has no whitewater above the highway except at the end. The fi nal 1.5 km feature II- rapids, and possibly some howling monkeys in the trees!

Descent History: My wife, Alice Lee, and I ran this in January 2007, with a 400 cfs fl ow.

Flow Notes: This river will get scrapy during dry spells.

Nearby Tourist Attractions: Lachuá National Park, Candelaria Caves.
