Description: (click here for general notes about my descriptions)

This run offers a nice balneario area to rig, practice, and put in, as well as pleasant scenery and a clean river.

A full description is in the Mayan Whitewater: Chiapas & Belize guidebook.

Descent History: Much of this section has been descended by local residents on various craft. We have only scouted it (we have not run it ourselves).
Flow Notes
: The river needs heavy recent rains to come up, and is better at higher flows. There is an online river gauge between access #2 and #3 (uncorrelated).
